Xetava Desert Arboretum Foundation

Educating the general public about plants that are native to southern Utah and plants appropriate our desert environment is what the Xetava Desert Arboretum is all about. The Desert Arboretum is a place where people can come to celebrate and enjoy the beauty that can be found in the local desert flora.  Visitors enjoy walking its paths and reading the information about native plants and other desert appropriate landscaping. The arboretum serves as a resource on xeriscaping for local residents and assists the Kayenta community in selecting plants for individual homes and gardens.  In addition, guided tours of the gardens for local school children can be arranged upon request.
